What is a floating sound bath?
It is a meditative experience where participants are laying on mattresses in a pool while immersed in sound from instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more. The vibrations from these instruments help shift you into a relaxed state, promoting deep relaxation and stress relief.
Who should not attend?
Those with auditory seizures, those who have tinnitus should not attend. Those who are pregnant should not attend until their 3rd trimester.
Is there a weight limit for the mattresses?
Yes. There is a weight limit of 300 pounds for the mattresses.
What should I bring with me?
Please be sure to bring a towel that you can roll up to use under your head as a pillow and to dry your feet & calves off when exiting the pool. Also be sure to bring a blanket to cover up with for your comfort.
What should I wear?
You will remain clothed for this experience. It is suggested to wear pants that can easily be pulled up as you will be getting your feet & calves wet in order to get onto the float.
Will this be in deep water & will we have assistance getting onto the raft?
We will be holding the sound bath in the shallow end of the pool (3ft 6 inches) for those who may be nervous about floating in the water. There will be an assistant in the pool to help hold the raft steady as you get onto the raft.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is free parking on the side of and behind the pool building.
